Human Rights, Conflict, and Peace Initiative (HRCP)

Our Initiative was founded in 2014, to supplement existing courses at IHEID, particularly in the context of human rights, conflict or post-conflict environments. Our events, which include panel discussions, film screenings, and other similar events, facilitate discussion on these topic areas. We aim to create discussion spaces and educational opportunities, promote debates on human rights generally as well as in the context of armed conflicts and post-conflict environments, advance knowledge among the students at IHEID on related issues, and create a network which encompasses students, scholars, practitioners, and organizations interested in human rights, conflict and peace related matters.
