Specialized Committees

At GISA, we have three specialized committees whose representatives maintain a permanent seat on the GISA Board. These committees are the Environmental Committee, the Professional Development Committee, and the Welfare Committee.

The Environmental Committee was founded in 2010 and serves as the students’ environmental association that brings together students interested in sustainability and environmental issues to give voice to these issues within the Institute and Geneva.

The Professional Development Committee is a specialized committee under the Graduate Institute Student Association (GISA) with the motive of helping students reach their professional potential through workshops and events.

The Welfare Committee is established as a specialized committee of the Graduate Institute Student Association to promote the welfare, mental health, and health of the students of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
