Invitation to Launch of UNFPA's State of World Population 2024 Report

Dear students and friends, 

I am delighted to invite you to the launch of the State of World Population report 2024 entitled “Interwoven Lives, Threads of Hope: Ending inequalities in sexual and reproductive health and rights”.  

Dr. Natalia Kanem, Executive Director of United Nations Population Fund, UNFPA, together with a panel of experts and advocates, will discuss the compelling evidence in the report on the impact of systemic and intersectional discrimination on women’s health and wellbeing. They will also highlight critical steps towards ensuring the enjoyment of a sustainable and rights-based future for all.

After the panel discussion, attendees will be served a light lunch and will have the opportunity to enjoy an exhibition.
