Back by popular demand, we are thrilled to announce the second installment of our cultural cooking class! Did you enjoy our journey through the flavors of East Asian cuisine, or perhaps you missed the chance to join us last time? Worry not! CEASβs next session is just around the corner. Mark your calendars, prepare to spice up your culinary skills in a fun, budget-friendly environment, and get ready to cook, taste, and enjoy together! ππ
For this class, we will be teaching you how to make Zhajiangmian (Beijing Fried Sauce Noodles), a classic from North China made with a saucy stir-fry of meat/mushroom, vegetables, and soybean paste on top of noodles. Choose your favourite ingredients in a DIY style and enjoy the perfect combination of salty, sweet, and savory in northern Chinese cuisine!
One chef will instruct a maximum of 8 students, and spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Secure your spot early to guarantee your place in the class!

Are you interested in LGBTQIA+ issues in East Asia? CEAS is about to usher in the first academic event of this semester, "Exploring Queerness in East Asia: LGBTQIA+ Identity and Activism."
This panel discussion aims to explore the multifaceted LGBTQIA+ experiences and challenges from different parts of East Asia. It will provide a platform for in-depth exploration of the issues faced by the LGBTQIA+ community in their various circumstances, the progress made in advocating for their rights, and the future of LGBTQIA+ activism in the region.
